Carry The Load
Titus County Fair
You will find us at the main gate each fall in September. We show a video of our MM's and you will see their pictures. We sell shirts and caps and receive donations to help support our main goal operation carepackage to send packages to our MM's and others world wide.
The last Sunday of each September, Gold Star Mothers are honored . These Moms' have lost children during wartime. This is a national event recognized by the President of the United States. We set our event up at the Titus County Courthouse. You will see luminaries line the courthouse sidewalks around the building. Not only do we honor and memorialize these fallen, but we honor our Veterans and those currently serving. There are many monuments that are in honor and memory of our fallen heroes around the court house grounds.
We sell luminarys at $1.00 each. Money goes to help our operationcarepackage event at Christmas.

Gold Star Luminary Initiative
Each May we support and host Carry The Load. a National walk to support Veterans and groups that help veterans. This continues to grow in support each year we do this. We walk to Winfield, TX and Mt. Vernon, TX with the CTL walkers and help raise awareness and donations to support them.
Mt. Vernon Country Fest is a fun and festive event each fall where folks come from all over the state to sell and buy handmade items. Music, Art and home town fun!
