An area military support group is preparing for its biggest mission of the year as its Holidays for Heroes Christmas Campaign shifts into high gear. M.O.M. (Ministering our Military) is collecting items to fill Christmas care packages for military members stationed overseas and at military installations in the U.S. The group is asking the community to drop off items in red collection tubs that are placed at several locations through Dec. 5.
